Biography
Amarah Joseph is a passionate development practitioner, youth mobilization strategist, and social entrepreneur dedicated to empowering young people and women in Nigeria. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in English Literature and a Postgraduate Diploma in Development Communications, both from Ahmadu Bello University, equipping her with strong skills in communication, advocacy, and program design.
Amarah Joseph is a passionate development practitioner, youth mobilization strategist, and social entrepreneur dedicated to empowering young people and women in Nigeria. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in English Literature and a Postgraduate Diploma in Development Communications, both from Ahmadu Bello University, equipping her with strong skills in communication, advocacy, and program design.
She currently serves as the Administrative Officer at the Committee of Youth on Mobilization and Sensitization (CYMS), where she oversees program coordination, volunteer engagement, and strategic initiatives aimed at enhancing civic participation, health awareness, and youth development across multiple states.
Amarah is also the Founder of Beth-Arbel Days for Girls Foundation, a nonprofit organization committed to promoting menstrual health education and improving access to sanitary products for girls in underserved rural communities. Through her leadership, the foundation has supported over 500 girls, addressing menstrual hygiene challenges and reducing school absenteeism.
In addition to her nonprofit work, Amarah is an entrepreneur in the organic foods space, she is a co- Founder of Verdeco Limited producing and selling high-quality organic food products bridging social impact and women’s economic empowerment.
Her expertise spans youth development, gender advocacy, community health, and social entrepreneurship, reflecting her commitment to creating inclusive platforms that empower individuals and strengthen communities.
