The organization is constituted with a deep structure from the Ward to the National level with a central data processing identity office from the National headquarters, Abuja.

The National Executives is made up of the Director General, Directors (Officers) and the Administrative Officer, which the Director General is the overall head of the organization. CYMS has approximately total number of Nineteen (19) millions as the collective strength as at January 2019.

The organization’s officials are non-elective but nominated for consideration for appointment into the National to the Ward level which appointment of State Coordinators and its Executive are carried out by the National Executive Council (NEC) to ensure transparency, unified database and to enable the CYMS pursue a common goal without unnecessary external or political interference.
